How much do solar panels and batteries cost?
Costs vary based on system size, installation complexity, and incentives. We offer customized quotes to fit your budget and energy goals.
What maintenance do solar panels require?
Solar panels are low-maintenance, requiring occasional cleaning and inspection. Our team provides guidance on upkeep to ensure optimal performance.
Will solar panels work on my roof?
Solar panels are adaptable to most roof types, including flat and sloped roofs. We assess your roof's suitability during our consultation to determine the best solution for you. For rural customers, even a ground mounted system may be a better solution.
How do you know what I need?
For solar design, most companies will design systems based off an estimate, we take real data either from your existing smart meter in your home. If you don't have a smart meter, we temporarily install a data logger to capture that necessary data for a properly designed system.
For batteries on an existing system, we can generally put your solar metering data through some spreadsheets with appliances in the home and create a healthy estimate off that data. We still install the data logger to capture that data if we are even slightly unsure about the estimated consumption.
Do I need a battery?
No, you do not need a battery. However, with the current STC scheme provided with the government, batteries are much cheaper and investing in one will drastically change over a 10 year period. Taking use of VPP's in the market can help pay off your battery's payback period drastically. One of our customers during Canberra's heatwaves of Jan 2026 was earning $55/kWhr through a VPP provider.
